AUXILIARY COMPOSITE OUTPUT The auxiliary port includes a composite video output pin (AUX_YCout) that is typically connected to the Video Out pin on an auxiliary SCART connector. Bits 3-5 in Register 1 determine the source for the AUX_YCout pin. When these bits are set to xx000xxx, the video source will be the Enc_B input. When these bits are set to xx001xxx, the video source will be the Enc_YC input. When these bits are set to xx010xxx, the video source will be the TV_YCin input.
The 1-wire serial communication port (5Kb/s) allows an external processor to read and write the internal registers of the bq2016. Communication with the bq2016 is useful for pack testing or host processing of the available battery information. The internal registers include available battery capacity, voltage, temperature, current, and battery status. The RBI input maintains the register set in the event of pack voltage collapse due to a high discharge pulse.
The CTV322S.V2.0 is a low-power, quad channel, 8-bit buffered voltage output DAC. Its on-chip precision output amplifier allows rail-to-rail output swing to be achieved. The CTV322S.V2.0 utilizes an I2C compatible two wire serial interface supporting high-speed interface mode with address support of up to four CTV322S.V2.0s for a total of 16 channels on the bus.
